Samriddhi Kisan Yojana, functioning under the umbrella of Samriddh Gramin Yojna (established under the Act of 1985), is one of India’s most ambitious and impactful farmer-focused initiatives. It is dedicated to the upliftment, empowerment, and sustainable development of the agricultural and rural farming community across the nation.
The initiative introduces the Samriddhi Card, a unique 12-digit identity card issued to farmers. This card grants access to multiple benefits including up to 50% discount on daily-use items, agricultural goods, seeds, fertilizers, and farm equipment through specially established Samriddhi Canteens, Bazaar outlets, Shops, and even Samriddhi Restaurants.
